2019 Board Members
Angelo Santorelli is a long time resident and business owner in the beautiful Township of King, living with his family in the Pottageville area for the past 40 years. Angelo is the proud owner and President of Trisan Construction, a company which operates out of and serves the community of Schomberg, Ontario. Being located in King, Trisan employs many local residents from the surrounding areas and also presents multiple opportunities for work and growth in the construction industry. Trisan Construction was also honoured to receive the Excellence in Large Business award by the King Chamber of Commerce in the fall of 2017. In 2011, Angelo and his family had the unique opportunity to be a part in supporting and naming of Schomberg’s community recreation centre, the Trisan Centre.
Angelo has been a member of the King Chamber of Commerce for over 10 years, as well as participating in the Township’s Sustainability Advisory Committee and serving on the board of the Toronto Area Road Builders Association for 3 years. Moving forward as President of the King Chamber of Commerce, Angelo hopes to encourage businesses, both small and large, to plant, grow and flourish in King. He would like to bring businesses together and get involved in creating a stronger and even better community. In doing this, Angelo’s goal is to promote both our Chamber, as well as the Municipality, for the benefit of local business and all who live and seek to thrive in our Township.
David joined the board in February 2017, this is his second year as Secretary.
David is President of W.B.CROSS CO. Limited, an installer and integrator of Security and Home Automation Products. The company moved to King Township in the mid- eighties and serves clients in the Greater Toronto, York Region and Barrie areas.
David has lived in King Township since 1958, where David and his wife Marti have enjoyed living and raising their 6 children, first living in Nobleton and then making the big trek north to Schomberg. An active member of St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church, David co-chaired the building committee and was also part of the building committee of the then “new” arena in Nobleton. A committed Christian, he has served as Chairman of the Scott Mission in Toronto and on the boards of the Scott Mission, Tyndale College, and St. Andrew’s College as well as the Toronto and North York Hunt.
David has always felt that the best way to make a business successful was to listen to your customer and then provide them with what they want at a fair price; always following up to build a relationship so that the customer feels supported every step of the way.
Manuela has been passionate with everything real estate related since 18 years of age. Her years of Sales and Real Estate experience, a Mortgage Broker license, along with a background in Finance, Development Projects, Property Management and trading both in Residential and Commercial properties, have given her the confidence, skill and expertise to excel. Driven by her passion, she continues to educate herself with being leading edge in the Real Estate industry both in Canada and Internationally. Manuela’s strong leadership skills and passion to share her knowledge and experience with her fellow industry professionals lead her to a new chapter in her career, opening and introducing the prestigious Forest Hill Real Estate brand in King City servicing all of York Region.
David, proudly lives and works in King Township. He has been the Director of Admission and University Placement at The Country Day School since 2008. In his role he is responsible for attracting, assessing and retaining students who will thrive at CDS and a result meets families from across the region. He regularly represents the school at local events like Christmas in King.
As a CDS Leadership Team member he also participates in a number of internal committees including finance and risk management. He has been a key member of a number of provincial committees and boards including: the Ontario University Application Centre, the Ontario Universities' Fair Steering Committee and Chair of the Provincial Standing Committee on Secondary School Liaison. He holds Level I (Theory), Level II Technical and Practical (Baseball) NCCP certification and coached for over a decade in the Ontario Baseball Association. David now serves as and Coach of the Senior Boys' Baseball team each spring.
Kelly Foley is a proud King Township citizen from a long term King Township family. Kelly has been a Chamber member for seventeen years, she has been on the board for five years and Treasurer for two years. Her contribution to the development of the King community and King Economy over the last 20 years brings a unique perspective to the 2017 Chamber board. She is excited to be able to network and bring new life into the business community of King. Being a small business owner she will have understanding and compassion for up and coming businesses in the community.
Zach Shoub is the General Manager of the King Weekly-Sentinel, the weekly Community Newspaper in King Township. He has been with the King Weekly-Sentinel since the parent company that he is with- London Publishing Corp purchased it in 2012.
Zach enjoys bringing his sales and management background to the board and contributing to try and help King Businesses thrive in this every growing community. Although Zach doesn’t live in King (lives in Etobicoke with his wife and 2 kids) he is much involved with the businesses in King on a daily basis with his role at the newspaper
Jay practised labour and employment law for over five years in Toronto with a large downtown law firm and a management-side labour and employment law firm. Jay joined Crawford Chondon & Partners LLP as a partner in October of 2001.

Jay represents employers in all areas of labour and employment law at both federal and provincial levels. He provides strategic advice and representation to management with respect to a full range of labour relations and employment law matters. He regularly appears as counsel in collective bargaining and before the Ontario (OLRB) and Canada (CIRB) labour/industrial relations boards, the Ontario Human Rights Tribunal, as well as private boards of arbitration and various other employment related statutory tribunals.
Jay has significant experience advising management on labour and employment issues arising from all manner of transactions or reorganizations in both the public and private sectors. Jay regularly conducts workshops and seminars dealing with issues such as union organizing, employee relations, managing in a union workplace and employment standards. Jay has also served as an employer nominee on both rights and interest boards of arbitration.
In almost twenty years of practice, Jay has represented many institutional and broader public sector clients including, municipalities, health care facilities, social service providers (including daycares and shelters) and Crown agencies.
