The chamber is a voice for Businesses by lobbying the Township of King, York Region and other levels of Government and Government   departments on behalf of local Business, This is especially valuable for Small Businesses that don't have the resources to do this on their own.

Researching and Implementing   Strategies that promote local  business retention and expansion.

Media Connection    The Chamber Board helps local businesses connect with the local media as well as the Mayor's office to help  promote their Grand Openings, Anniversaries and other events.

The King Shop Local Campaign is Well Underway 

King Chamber of Commerce's shop local campaign, named “KING | IT’S ALL HERE” is showing great momentum, The first initiative in the campaign encouraged us all to provision our Thanksgiving table with food and d├ęcor that is all produced locally.

The “KING | IT’S ALL HERE” campaign is being funded by a $60,000 grant from the Ontario Chamber of Commerce to support shopping locally, and runs from September through to the end of December.  It will also be supported by York Region, in conjunction with the other York Region municipalities, which also received funding. It will include full page ads, videos, social media and an on-line business directory for King Chamber members – all at no charge at all to local businesses.

The King Chamber of Commerce wishes to announce the departure of its longstanding Administrator, Helen Neville. Over her years of engagement with the Chamber Helen’s dedication to the Chamber and the betterment of its members was unwavering. We thank Helen for her service and wish her much happiness in her life in Collingwood and all the best in her future endeavours.

Proof of vaccine for King’s

recreation facilities and programs now in effect

Due to the Provincial mandate, the Township of King now requires proof of COVID-19 vaccination before welcoming participants and visitors into Township recreational facilities and programs. King is responding to the Province’s requirement for proof of COVID-19

King Township is re-opening more of its facilities and amenities this week and offering more Township services available for in-person appointments.

“Township staff are always reviewing when and how to safely re-open amenities or continue programming under public health guidelines.
