2026 Presidential Address

Dear King Chamber of Commerce Members,

As I begin my term as President of the King Chamber of Commerce, having taken on the role in March 2026, I’m proud to serve and to support such a strong and engaged business community. I’m honoured to step into this role and build on the great work of the previous President and Board.

Over the past year, we’ve taken meaningful steps forward as an organization. Our focus has been on strengthening our foundation, improving internal processes, enhancing the member experience, and making better use of existing tools and programs. With changes to both our Board of Directors and our staff, this coming year will be an important time to regroup, refine, and position ourselves for long-term success.

At the heart of everything we do is our commitment to empowering business and strengthening community. We will continue to build on key initiatives such as King Proud and the Morning Youth Grant while supporting local youth and entrepreneurship in our community. Our events and networking opportunities, including King After 5s and our signature events, remain a cornerstone of what we offer, bringing members together to connect, collaborate, and grow.

Our website continues to evolve as a central hub for our members, offering visibility, resources, and greater visibility for your businesses. We encourage you to take full advantage of these tools and to share your updates, events, and milestones so we can help promote them across our channels.

Looking ahead, 2026 will be a year of focus. Rather than expanding into new initiatives, our priority is to strengthen what we already do, delivering high-quality events, improving member engagement, and ensuring every program we offer provides real value.

Our members remain central to everything we do. With the guidance of our dedicated Board of Directors, we remain committed to being a strong and effective voice for business in King Township.

I also want to take a moment to sincerely thank our previous Board of Directors for their dedication and leadership, and to extend a special thank you to outgoing President Michelle for her outstanding service and the strong foundation she helped build for the Chamber.

Thank you for your ongoing support, and we encourage you to continue standing behind your fellow members as we build a strong and connected business community together.
