King Proud is a community-focused initiative of the King Chamber of Commerce that celebrates the people, businesses and organizations that make King Township a special place to live and work.

At its heart, King Proud is about strengthening connections within our community and creating opportunities to give back. One of the ways it does this is through the Morning Youth Grant, supporting and encouraging young entrepreneurs right here in King Township.

Show your King pride and support an initiative that celebrates our community and encourages the next generation of entrepreneurs in King Township.
The Morning Youth Grant was established by Brent Morning in honour of his late father, James Morning, a longtime King Township community leader and entrepreneur.
James served on King Township Council for 20 years and built James Morning & Sons Ltd. from modest beginnings in 1969 into a successful local business. His commitment to entrepreneurship, community and giving back inspired a grant that carries that legacy forward.

In partnership with the King Chamber of Commerce, the Morning Youth Grant recognizes and supports young entrepreneurs in King Township as they develop their ideas and take their first steps in business. More than financial support, it is about showing young people that their ambition and entrepreneurial spirit are valued, and that their community is behind them.

By empowering young entrepreneurs today, we pave the way for the leaders of tomorrow.
