Funding & Program Opportunities

Ontario Expands Digital Adoption Funding for Small Businesses

Ontario is investing an additional $5 million to expand the Digital Competence Centre, helping nearly 450 small businesses adopt digital tools, modernize operations and improve productivity. Eligible businesses can access support and matched grants of up to $50,000 to invest in technology that drives growth, efficiency and competitiveness.

OCC Talent Opportunites Program

The Ontario Chamber of Commerce (OCC) offers wage subsidies of up to $5,000 to help businesses hire post-secondary students through paid work-integrated learning placements such as co-ops and internships via the Talent Opportunities Program (TOP). Applications are now open for the Summer 2026 term (May 1 to August 31). A chamber toolkit is also available to help share this opportunity with members.

2026 Community Grants Program

Grants up to $5,000 are available to support projects that enhance community life in King Township. Apply by November 1 at enrichking.ca.

Receive up to $50,000 in Exporting Grants.

The CanExport SMEs funding program provides Canadian government grants to support Canadian businesses seeking to develop new export opportunities and markets, particularly high-growth priority markets and sectors, by covering a portion of eligible sales and marketing activities.

Student Work Placement Program (SWPP)

The Student Work Placement Program (SWPP) supports paid work-integrated learning (WIL) by providing wage subsidies through delivery partners. It’s a practical way for employers to build a pipeline of early talent while controlling costs, especially for roles that require on-the-job learning (analytics, tech, finance, operations, HR, marketing, and more).

NRC IRAP Youth Employment Program (YEP)

Young talent offer fresh perspectives that can fuel innovation. Our youth employment program provides financial assistance to companies so they can hire young talent to contribute to their innovation needs.
