June has been a whirlwind month for the King Chamber of Commerce, packed with incredible opportunities to connect, celebrate, and support our local businesses and organizations. As your Chamber, we take great pride in being present at community events and representing the voices of our members and neighbours.
This month, we had the pleasure of sending board members and representatives to many exciting gatherings and celebrations. Our President, Michelle Frauley, and Treasurer, David Magahey, kicked off June by attending the Post-Budget Breakfast hosted by the Vaughan Chamber of Commerce. It was a fantastic event filled with meaningful conversations about business priorities and regional collaboration—key topics that directly impact our local economy and community growth.

We also joined the annual Customer Appreciation Day at Nobleton Plaza, graciously hosted by Nobleton Family Dental and Physiomed Nobleton. It was wonderful to meet so many community members and show our support for these local businesses.
June’s energy continued to build with the Exotic Car Show at Ace Performance Gym—a thrilling event that brought horsepower and community spirit together in a spectacular way. We were also delighted to visit Catholic Community Services of York Region’s new office, where we were warmly welcomed, treated to delicious refreshments, and given a tour of their new space.

Beyond these highlights, the King Chamber participated in a variety of other local events, including the King City Lions Family BBQ and Car Show, Voyage Yoga Studio’s One Year Anniversary celebration, the King Heights Community BBQ, Schomberg’s Stroll N’ Shop, and the Italia360 Launch Day at York University.
A special moment this month was President Michelle Frauley’s invitation to the King City Secondary School graduation ceremony, where she had the honor of presenting an award to a remarkable student—a proud moment for the Chamber and our community’s future leaders.

We also proudly supported the King Proud Charity Golf Tournament, where our Event & Marketing Coordinator and Youth Representative engaged attendees at the King Proud booth, spreading awareness about King Proud and the Morning Youth Grant.
To wrap up the month, we celebrated the grand openings and ribbon-cutting ceremonies of Fresh House Juice Bar, EB Aesthetics, and The Wellnest Clinic—welcoming these new businesses to our vibrant community.

At the King Chamber of Commerce, we believe in being active partners in the growth and success of King Township. We are always happy to send representatives from our board to support your events—whether workshops, celebrations, fundraisers, or networking opportunities. If you have an upcoming event and would like Chamber support, please don’t hesitate to reach out and invite us (info@kingchamber.ca). Together, we can continue building a strong, connected community where businesses and residents thrive.
